I had something similar happen to me in chicago. I used to have the tendency to just start driving around when I was in different cities on business which has almost gotten me killed I might add. (philly loop etc.) One time in chicago I just started driving when I needed gas so I pull into gas station and had to pre-pay. I go up to the bullet proof glass window and and older gentleman asked me if I knew were I was? I said no. He says I think you better get back in your car, go back the way you came and DO NOT stop at a any stop lights. he was very convincing so I did as he said and am lucky he gave me the advice he did or I would not be typing these words today. I am older and much wiser now and do not get myself into these situations anymore. Well not as often anyway
