Three Rivers park bow hunts

Anybody get drawn for any of the three river park districts bow hunts?

I am supposed to be hunting Gale Woods. Didn't make it out to put my stand up due to work so now I have to wait till the next hunt period.

I was drawn for Murphy Hanrehan. I've been hunting that park since they started doing the bow hunts. Back in the early years we would get drawn every year. Now its every 3 - 4 years.

I haven't gotten my rejection letter yet. Has everyone already received their notices?

dukhnt, do you already have your spots picked? Thats really weak if Joe won't let you hunt this period. You should try calling him.

i was just wandering, because i havn't recieved anything either way yet either. Says your suppose to know by the 3rd

There is some sort of rejection notice because I"ve gotten them before. Usually it informs me that I received a preference point and to reapply next year.

I did talk to joe. I missed out on the orientation due to working afternoons that week. Started a new job and didn't have any vacation. Then worked overtime when they hung stands. There are 3 more hunt periods. Joe and I are gonna get together between the first two so I can hunt. Thanks again for answering my questions about the MBRB way back when. We should get out for a duck hunt this year. I live in Hutchinson now. Let me know if you would be interested.

Glad to hear you'll get to hunt Josh. My friend Dan and I have both hunted Gale Woods with Joe. Its a neat hunt cause the farm is so big.

We definitely need to get out this fall. I live in Eden Prairie, so its a straight shot to Hutch.

Oh yeah and I got my rejection letter from Three RIvers yesterday. They sent me an email congratulating me on earning a preference point in next years drawing.
