wondering what fluids to use in the front diff and the rear transmission. I have serviced the front hubs and used the polaris stuff for that. Also how much do these hold?

Could a guy use a synthetic gear lube in them or is that to thick, any help on this would be great! THANKS!

You won't save much by using something other than Polaris brand oil. All of the lubricants in the Sportsmans were synthetic from the factory. The Polaris branded oils are just as good of quality as any other oil.

Your closest dealership can get you the proper viscosity for the motor and front/rear diff.

Rear gearcase takes exactly 1 quart of Polaris AGL fluid. Front differential takes Polaris Angle Drive Fluid or Polaris Front Gearcase Lubricant (same thing different names). I don't remember exactly how much but 9 oz. rings a bell.
