Hey guys I make a trip to devils every year to fish norterns and now finally spear is going to be awesome. But any way if you guys come up with a plan I might know of a house to rent that sleeps 6-8 guys for 5 big bills a week. Now sounds like us no one can really go for a week but may be get together and we can split the house half and half you guys half week us other half just a thought.

The reason Minnesotans couldn't spear North Dakota was because Minnesota did not allow non-resident spearing and in North Dakota only residents of North Dakota or states who permitted North Dakotans to spear could spear in North Dakota. Minnesota has now legalized non-resident spearing which is why we can now spear North Dakota. This also means that our cheesy neighbors can spear here now, too.

Before last year

Minnesotans could spear in Wisconsin

And Wisconsionites could not spear here.

Now either can spear in either state.

Wisconsin has a sturgeon spearing season for sure, and I think some pike spearing off Lake Superior but I would need to double check.
