GatorGetter
To spear in ND all you need is a fishing license and you must register online or phone to get your free spearing number.

But any way if you guys come up with a plan I might know of a house to rent that sleeps 6-8 guys for 5 big bills a week. Now sounds like us no one can really go for a week but may be get together and we can split the house half and half you guys half week us other half just a thought. glenn57
hey guys, want to take some cash from my cheesehead brother. he seems to think he can spear in mn now because of the N.D. agreement. correct me if i'm wrong but we cant spear in wisc and they cant spear in mn. right? waterbound
The reason Minnesotans couldn't spear North Dakota was because Minnesota did not allow non-resident spearing and in North Dakota only residents of North Dakota or states who permitted North Dakotans to spear could spear in North Dakota. Minnesota has now legalized non-resident spearing which is why we can now spear North Dakota. This also means that our cheesy neighbors can spear here now, too. waterbound
Wisconsin doesn't have a spearing season for pike, so unfortunately we can't go spear there.
glenn57
then that hasta mean they cant come here to speae either.
merkman
Before last yearMinnesotans could spear in WisconsinAnd Wisconsionites could not spear here. Now either can spear in either state.Wisconsin has a sturgeon spearing season for sure, and I think some pike spearing off Lake Superior but I would need to double check. glenn57
so heres the way i see this. other than superior there is NO spearing in wisc, so wisc residents cant spear in mn either.
