Deitz Dittrich
So, as many of you know I am on the Mister Twister Pro-Staff(have been for nearly 15 years now). And every so often I get sent a new product to test. Recently I have had the chance to play with a new product called the "L-Comida" I personally would have called it "The Freak", but I dont get to be on the naming team. :-) Anyway, its been a ton of fun, been pulling it over pads like a frog, carolina rigged it some, really like using it like most would a tube when flipping heavy foil. But this morning, I tried it as a trailer on a Skirted TouchDown Jig(football jig) and boated my second largest bass of the season, it was just a hair over 21.5" Fishing alone, so no pict I hate to say. They should be in stores soon, let me know if you give them a try. Deitz Dittrich
You call it what you want Cecil... But its catching fish.Tonk- I really think it shines when flipping foil or pads as the tail thing is plenty big to put a rattle in and the arms really wiggle on the fall. sicheneder
i didn't know outkast had a Skirted TouchDown Jig(football jig). i used a competitors jig last weekend and was not happy with the hook opening up.
TonkaBass
Its important to have a stout hook on any football head jig... I really like the Outcast touchdown 2 jig, it does a nice job. The AllTerrain Roller rock jig is my fav though
Deitz Dittrich
i didn't know outkast had a Skirted TouchDown Jig(football jig). i used a competitors jig last weekend and was not happy with the hook opening up. The Outkast Jig is not skirted.. But thats an easy fix.. put a skirt on it. I much prefer the round bend hook over the Wide gap. And the hook is plenty stout. sicheneder
the touchdown and AT jig use the same mustad straight hook. it's just AT's weedless jig doesn't appear to use the same hook as the stand alone jig. just need one with a weed guard sometimes. both stand alone jigs are built excellent with bottom contact and feel and the hook is tough enough to give them hell.sorry to throw thread of line. i'll have to look at some other ones for next year.
