CFRay
I've been watching this guy for the past couple of weeks. It landed on a sheperds hook in my yard, the sun was good, I was able to sneak behind a tree, get the bird in focus, my memory card was full, deleted a couple of shots to make room, switch to JPEG, refocus, and I got a nice pix. I've been fortunate to have bluebirds use my backyard for feeding in the 15 years I've lived in my home. Each year I look forward to seeing them. When the neighborhood was more open they would nest here. This was the closest I've been able to get with camera in hand. dockothebay
You are lucky to have the little guys in your yard & you've turned that into a very nice image - which was skill, not luck! I've only rarely seen bluebirds, but we actually had one in our yard recently. I snapped a few pictures and they went into a file of images where the birds are so far away you have to hunt for them - and usually only I know what I've captured! Thanks for sharing!
