IFallsRon Posted July 15, 2009 Share Posted July 15, 2009 Former Minnesota Vikings wideout Hassan Jones, 45, was arrested this week in his hometown of Clearwater, Fla., on charges of aggravated assault and felony domestic battery, the St. Petersburg Times reported. Jones is accused of menacing his wife and daughter with a Big Bertha driver golf club and assaulting his daughter, the paper reported. Jones played with the Vikings from 1986-92. zamboni Posted July 15, 2009 Share Posted July 15, 2009 Haven't heard his name in a long time. I remember being at the KC airport, working for Avis when I rented Leo Lewis a car. He handed me an Avis corporate credit card and it said he worked for the Vikings. I told him I was from MN and asked him what he did for a living, he said he was in charge of making sure underclassmen that turned pro got their college degrees. They couldn't have said "golf club" they had to go so far as to say what kind it was as if it mattered. I was thinking he was a ping kinda guy anyways.
