My new Citica E just broke

I was just out on the dock and one of my handles somehow fell off. I have had the reel for about 3 weeks and just threw out the box and receipt the other day so I doubt I can return it to the store I bought it from. How good is Shimano CS will they just send me the part, or will I have to send the whole reel in.

That's disturbing. I recently sold my old green curados and updated with a mix of citica and curado E. I hope this isn't a recurring problem.

You should be able to exchange it still. Just tell them they can keep the box with the broken reel.

Either take it back to the place you bought it, or talk to Shimano Cust service.. you can find it on their web page. Its still under warranty.
