It has been so great to read the different ways people are spending their Father's Day this year! We've had everything from a trip to D.C. to see the Vietnam Memorial, to negotiating a set of new trailer tires, to fishing with dads and kids. Thanks for sharing!

I wish that when my two adult children showup for their free meal they announce that they have decided to cut my grass for the rest of the summer.............However, that is about as likely as me catching the state record walleye on Saturday.

I'm very content with what the kids are doing with their lives and that both of them have thus far managed to keep thier jobs and take care of thier families. That is good enough for me.

Having adult children that are taking care of their families is a true credit to the parents. Congratulations on the fine job of parenting! For me, life has changed and all I want is the opportunity to go fishing with my Wife, daughter-in-law, son and grandsons. It's been many hospital visits for hip surgeries and now a bleeding ulcer. Lord, give her strength to get thru this one and enjoy her life again! PLEASE!!

i am hoping to have my boat fixed by then and want to bring my dad up to mille lacs for our first trip together on the pond during open water. last weekend he caught his biggest walleye at about 4-4.5 pounds. it would be great to break his personal best by a couple pounds on fathers day up on mille lacs.

My sister and I are getting my dad a GPS for his Father's Day/Birthday present, plus I am trying to get home to spend some time fishing with him. So question for the dad's out there, is that a good idea? He travels for work and we were thinking of getting one with a lake chip. Any recommendations and what are the prices?
