Jeremy airjer W
I have replace many of these with no future problems other than they will eventually leak again. It is important to check the sealing surface of the shaft for wear and to check the shaft for play. If its on the drivers side it may be spitting a little out the breather tube. If its on the Passenger side its the seal.
Hookmaster
I had the passenger side replaced last September and all is still well, after they had to rebuild the front diff in November. And last week the left front whell bearing when out. Not too happy with all this since the engine and drive train is why I bought Chevy. My friend has replaced his passenger side diff seal on his Suburban and it has held.
jwhjr
Pass side seal went out on my 04 while still under warranty. It's held up so far 3 yrs and 50K miles later.
