Macro Flowers

I don't know what these little guys are but they are starting to pop up in my wifes flower gardens.

Very pretty, both of you. Windowpane, I like your second the best. I think because the purple pops on the green background, although the earthiness of the bottom of the first picture adds interest. Funny how those little things we overlook most of the time can carry such beauty and detail in a macro photo. Who knew there was blue and green in these little guys. My grandfather spent a lifetime photographing wildflowers. I think the collection might be at St. Cloud State University. Hmmm. It might have to be a dog violet kind of painting night.
