There has been a great influx of these birds around the area lately.

They are really thick here too. Maggie and I walked this morning, and they were everywhere, and very twittery.

I expect we'll start seeing them in numbers by this weekend or early next week. Then it's REALLY spring. I've taken to calling them the Easter bird, because the woods seem to come alive with them that weekend most years.

Steve the Junco's have been at our feeders since last weekend so they are close by and its just a matter of time now grin

That's what we get up here in Ely for living next to the Canadian border. We're always the last ones in America to get spring migrants. smilesmile
