Catmendo
"If" I had more time & energy, this is one sport that I would jump into in a heart beat! I shot this via my newly obtained Canon 500/f4. The shoreline in the background is approximately four miles away! The guy Para-sking was out approximately a 1/2 mile. The lens set me back a ton, but I know I'll get many hours of enjoyment in return.
Dbl
Congratulations Stu on the new purchase! You've already put it to great use. Very nice shot and it does look like it would be fun doesn't it!

Paul
Hmm, 500/F4 or Snow Sailing gear?... Hmm Sharp images or broken Arms, I think I would have bought the 500 also. Looks like a sweet lense. Does that have IS and USM etc?
Catmendo
Thanks all for the comments! Yes Paul, she comes fully loaded! I did some significant reach between the 500 & 600. Besides an extra 2,000 clams for the 600, the 500 has plenty of advantages and is one hecava lens!
