Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

You know what we all love...

When you enchant people, you fill them with delight and yourself in return. Have Fun!!!

Thanks for posting and maybe bringing some life back to this thread.  It was started 3 years ago!

I was planning on being out this morning but overslept after a crappy night of trying to sleep.  Just keeping busy around the house instead since I have a Christmas party to go to this evening.  Yeah, be there at 4pm. :(

I'll be out tomorrow, snow storm or not.  I have more exploring to do around where I hunted last weekend.

Post back with any late season up dates, eh?

    • Added pumper 317 to Strut Stops Here.
    • If they are up there odds are they won't move much if any when you poke your head up there and shine a light around to look for them.  They can really tuck into small areas so it may not be super easy to find them.  If you end up needing to crawl around up there to look for them here are the items I'd suggest.   In case there is bat $#!?.   In case air quality is bad aka its full of bat $#!?.   In case the bat $#!? hits the fan.
    • I'm calling May 13 in the Brainerd area. That's Mother's Day, and they'll need us out of their hair that day so they can have some fun.
    • Predict lakes around Duluth will be open two days before the fishing opener. Places like Lake of the Woods a week afterwards. Now I’ll get to see how accurate I was
    • I am pretty sure I found how they get in and out...where my soffits meet my roof lines the soffits have a gap of a couple inches and runs the length of the soffit, so about 18" in one spot and the other spot is wider but has the Gap of 2" or more for them to enter.  Since I just had one find and opening in my walls and found a way to make it to my basement I am pretty sure they are in my attic right now and have been there all winter but I will get up there and take a look around.  All you interest and responses on this is appreciated!!!
    • While on vacation in Marco Island, FL we went back down to the Beach to do some more Surf Fishing. At the end of our last trip we found a group of rocks that seemed to be holding a lot of different species including Sheepshead and Pompano. We decided to start our day near these rocks this time and they didn't disappoint. We were using 1/4oz and 1/2oz egg sinkers with circle hooks and shrimp to catch all of our fish.
    • My encapsulation and photos are in the submission thread. Good luck to everyone else!
