I saw a scooter on HWY 22 between St. Peter and Mankato on Feb 17th. We see him out there all the time in the summer. Surprised he was out this early.

lots of people getting the jump on the riding season yesterday.

Be careful people. We haven't seen the rain needed to wash the salt and sand off the roads.

Headed south out of Warroad from Lake of the Woods yesterday saw a guy headed north on the highway riding a real shiny cruiser of some sort!

Looked at my truck therm and it read 41 degrees! Nice day, but still a little on the chilly side for me! eek

I put on a few miles this Saturday. Had a very light rain all Friday night. Hid Kit is a great upgrade. New Jacket is very nice, it lets no air through the zipper.

I hear there was already a 2012 Harley that went down in Southern MN somewhere. The rider was airlifted to North Memorial. frown

Holy ceerap! It looked like "Bike Week in Daytona" out there today. On my drive back from Isle Bay today I must have counted over 75 bikes on the road! Most seemed to be HD's but a few rockets as well. What a little 70 degress will do! grin

I was in Madtown Wisc and Milwaukee over the weekend. Same ting. Bikes everywhere.

I spent a couple hours milling around the HD dealership in Madison on Sunday. Man, it's a lucky thing for my wife that they can't sell recreational vehicles in Wisconsin on Sundays!!! laugh

I thought that was kind of a funny law? crazy

I got the Dual Sport uncovered from the winter and put the battery back in and went for a nice short ride yesterday. Nice to be back on the road. Now I just have to find some nice off road to ride on as well! wink

    • I picked for about 2 hours this morning. I'm not exactly haw many I got but its enough for a couple meals. I'm going to chop some of these up and mix with some cream cheese, feta cheese and garlic chives and then stuff some chicken breasts and cook them on the grill. The little bit of rain that we got last week helped the shrooms pop but it really didn't do much else for the woods besides help the mosquito's hatch. There were so many they licked the bug spray off first then swarmed. I found the mushrooms all over, North, South, East and West facing hills. Normally spot 1 has the best results but this trip it was my second spot. All of them had pretty good size too. Only a few that were in direct sunlight were dried up otherwise they are very firm. Spot 1 is the left container. Don't worry, I use a mesh bag while I'm out in the woods!
    • Yup.... 6 & 4 for Lead.... 4 & 2 for steel
    • I ended up framing my house, putting on the T&G , and then spray foaming back against the interior, which may be why I am not seeing any movement... I also used pine vs cedar
    • I agree with the guy who agreed with the other guy.
    • Just wait till they come up with the remote submarine drone with 3d high resolution camera that can see through algae and milfoil and transmit to your eyewear in 3d.   I struggle with properly tying a berkley knot......
    • I agree with rundrave. #4 early and #2 shot later in year
    • Yes, 5/16 T&G I installed last fall. I did the same, but I see this summer it's starting to buckle
    • Adding a 4th wouldn't do much IMO. The map screen is already too small to be useful when screen is split in 3. I added a Helix 7 G2N to use as a map screen. Networked with other 2 units
    • I could always go and spend more money on an additional unit but some of it is like Floyd said. I have a hard enough time watching one screen. I have the app on my phone. I think that lowrance has the ability to split the screen into 4. I just can't believe I'm the only person who would like to see this but maybe I am. It may not be as big a deal once I get more familiar with the unit. Right now I like to look at all the screens to help discern what it is im seeing on the screen.  I appreciate the input!
    • Males were on the beds last night on a lake here in the metro. Not my deal, so I let 'em be. Which means I didn't catch much at all compared to last week.   Oh well, be a couple weeks before the summer patterns start happening. Already a hint of cottonwood floating on the water though. *booooo*
