Bass Fishing Stopped Dead!

Trout guys new to bass. Why have bass just STOPPED in past few days around Alex etc.? Theories? Factual answers? Smoke induced dreams? Or...guesses?

I mean one day fishing busy and fun. Last two days DEAD!!

For me the last two days have been great. Been fishing shallow slow rolling a spinnerbait over the weeds and letting it drop in the holes. Best time has been late morning.

Yup, that's what I saw op the weather last night also.

Tuesday we were out and caught some but the action wasn't fast, that's for sure. Less than half of our usual catch and most of those came dead sticking.

It just seemed like classic cold front conditions.

Slow down, but fish the same water. The fish are still there.

August is a good time to leave the clear lakes and focus on the praire pothole lakes in the area. The greener and dirtier the better.

Hey Agape,

What are some of your favorite methods for going after the bass on these off colored water lakes? I have fished one pretty close to where i live and have got some nice fish out of it but not a lot of numbers.
