DrJ
I have a 8yr. old lab that is healthy and not overweight. After a full day of hunting last year he was a little stiff the next morning.I gave him a baby aspirn and that seemed to help. Anyone know which medication would work best.He weighs 68lbs.Thanks for any info. DrJ( I'm not a vet.)

duckbuster
I was told my vet to use Ascripton, something like that. I leave a bottle up at the shack so I'm not 100% sure on the spelling.

Swamp Scooter
Ascriptin is recommended for the buffer.DO NOT FEED YOUR DOG IBUPROFEN!!!! It is poisonous to them. Aspirin will work as well as anything unless there is reall extended pain and then Rimadyl is used but not on younger dogs as there are some liver stresses involved.
