outdoor ran
Anyone else check out this show last night on the discovery channel, The Alaska Experiment. I see our very own JOE HARNER from Outdoor Allure in Wasburn is on it this year. Joe better hurry up and catch some fish or hes going to get a little ribbing when I stop by there in a couple of weeks
leech~~
I seen it and just could not understand why the "Trout fishing guide" was not out there trying to show everyone how to catch or at least snag one! Hopefully it wouldn't be to Lam! Like last night and everyone B&%$%# over one little mouse! Where were all the deadfall and other traps they could have used? outdoor ran
You know Joe knows how to catch fish. I'm thinking it just wouldn't have made very good TV if he slayed the sockeyes and they were all stuffed full of fish and not starving and fighting over a mouse lol. leech~~
That maybe it? I can't imagine the guy knowing how to fish just sitting around looking stupid like the rest of them!

outdoor allure
Yeah, Joe's a regular hollywood now! Actually all of us big burly northwoods types think we could do that, no problem, (myself included). On our own, or with our friends would be one thing, but when I heard how it actually WAS with the other "volunteers", sound crew, cameramen, producers, sherpas, film choppers, etc, etc, and how they were running the production, it dosen't surprise me that the best hunter (penny joe) went home first. If anyone has any questions, comments, (or ribbings) about it, Joe is discussing it a bit on our web forum, please feel free. CRAIG.
