Birdsong Posted March 31, 2009 Share Posted March 31, 2009 Nice! I always think May 15 for height of the warbler season here. But you are south of me. Are you the one who mentioned March 15th for ruby crowned kinglets? My yard is ruby crowned central in the spring. So I have really kept my eye open. Not a one so far. Steve Foss Posted March 31, 2009 Share Posted March 31, 2009 I'm guessing things will start to break loose migration-wise after this winter storm passes and the temps warm. I think MM reported hearing a yellow-rumped warbler down there in Iowa. They're the first warblers to get here in spring and the last to leave in fall.Nice turtle shot, mic!
