"The Big Melt"

Well...it is melting but nothing spectacular in this neck of the woods.....barely above freezing this weekend but the sun sure does it's thing.....Snapped a few images of the different ice patterns and configurations on a local creek near Hibbing this morning...just a nice morning to be out with the sun shining and the blue sky...

and a lone grouse I spotted enjoying the warm sun along the creek...

Ice and water always make interesting subjects! I like #3 the best.

Personally I liked #1 and the best. I really enjoy ice pics.

Good stuff. #2 is a fun pic. to look at. Looks like little legs with fat feet dropping out of the ice. You could call it snow white and the seven dwarfs.
