I have officially changed to the open water forum. Maybe a quick glance back at ice fishing, but its time to hit the open water.

I've officially made the switch. The pond behind my apartment is open and I got a couple of casts in with my new fly rod. Sharkskin flyline is everything it's said to be May can't get here soon enough!

why does it have to be may to start fishing??? if going for anything that will bite and if a walleye hits and its a biggen take a quick pic on the phone then retrun the fish..

you cant legally TARGET just "any fish" especially if they're out of season. (walleye)
