No Tilt

Have a 1982 Johnson 25hp long shaft. No Tilt Mechanism. Looking for same or part numbers. Anyone

know where to find one.

If you are looking for power tilt and trim I don't think in the early '80s was available on your motor.

You might want to check into a CMC plate or similar add-on mechanism.

There isn't much to it other than a release. What's missing?

It has the lock lever which works. In the release stage the motor

will not stay up for loading and unloading,also the part which

locks the motor in the shallow water position will not engage.

marine man and all, went to hannay's yesterday, talked to the parts people looked in the BIG BOOK this model does not have the

tilt lockup just lockdown will have to buy lots of parts to fix,

or use a 2x4 to hold it up. Thanks to all for your help.

one other questions how do i kill this thread.
