Looking for a new net holder

To be honest, the best I've seen (and most straight forward) is a piece of PVC tubing with oversize screw holes on one side (so you can get the head through one side of the tube) and clearance holes on the other for the screws.

You could always paint it so it looks a bit more professional.

I saw something like that at Fleet Farm. I think it was actually a single rod holder, but it was big enough to work for a net too.

I just put mine in the plastic tube rod holder mounted to my console.

I'm in the process of adding some hatch covers made out of the marine vinyl and snaps. I'm going to make a little piece with snaps on either end to hold the shaft of the net horizontal against the inside of the boat wall. Should keep the net secure and out of the way.

PVC works well too. I had it on my last boat and painted it grey so it looked a little better. Only problem is that it was vertical so the net got in the way sometimes.
