The_Duckslayer
Being 60 or dang close to it today would have been a nice day to ride. I stayed home though... either way I look up or down the street there is a good flow of water going across and lots of sand from the winter. I kept the bike in the garage but it sure was tempting! A good gully washer would be nice to get the roads cleaned! Take care and N Joy the Hunt././Jimbo
Hafnutz
No way. Not til the salt and sand are washed down. I can wait.

hondarider550
I would love to take the bike out too but the area between the road and my storage building is nothing but mud right now so it would be quite a trip getting the bike just to the road right now. I cant wait to have it dry up some so I can get riding again...
Caleb S
Not until the roads are cleaned off. Perfect weather for fishing anyways.
MAB
I can't wait! The roads do need a good rain though. One year when I was too young and did't know better I was going around a turn to a merge and the bike just went out from under me. It was no big deal, just picked it up and went along my way. We need a good rain!
Iron Cowboy
I got out I used to wait until conditions were better but it gets to the point where I would wait for the driveway to be dry and not too muddy, the sand and salt to be off the roads ,not too windy or chilly, doesnt look like rain, etc.etc. you end up spending way more time waiting for what seems like all the planets in perfect alignment than anything else..so now I just dress good and say "screw it" lets ride

Only has to be 40 degrees for me to ride to work. Driveway is already dry. Have never studied planets so do not know anything about their alingment. However, with all the remaining gravel/salt/sand that there is on some of the intersections and country county roads around here and I say naw, would rather keep the shiny side op than loose on the winter sand. I am sure that the interstate is prolly pretty clean but I don't ride that except to go back and forth to work. Have a good one! Determan
I just can't bring myself to ride through all that salt. The bike looks pretty bad after a day like today. Soon though...very soon!!Stay Safe!
hanronson
Yesterday, I picked the bike (05 Yamaha FJR) up from H.P. in Coon Rapids (new tires installed) and rode up to Mille Lacs. I wanted to see if anyone was fishing in the south bays so I rode past Waukon and Isle bays and couldn't believe all the vehicles on the ice. Perch or Crappies must have been biting. Nice day for a ride, it was great to get out. The main roads were pretty clear, but side road intersections still had some sand in spots. You can ride at this time of year, you just have to be careful and pay attention to the road conditions (more than usual, that is).
