Here's the original. It was late in the evening, the sun had just set, so i decided that I would re-do-it in B & W...

I like the black and white treatment with this one. If it were summer, I would probably like it better in color with the green trim.

Another great photo... I thought about doing a project this summer that involves taking photos of many of the abandoned barns in the rural areas where I live. I keep saying that I'm going to do it someday but I just never started. Every time I remember is when I am driving by one of those old barns and remember that I did not take the camera along AGAIN... LOL.

Just like VISA... Never leave home without it!!!

These old farms, houses and barns, etc are kinda sad. The area I live is full of them. Most of the occupied farm houses around here have barns that are collapsed. Nice pic

Ken, just goes to show how good Canon's 70-200 f2.8 really is. It really excels in every situation, especially so in low light situations!

I have recently sold my 100-400 and I'm now in the process of waiting for the 500 f4...It's going to be a very long six weeks or so, but maybe with a little luck it will arrive much sooner than that!

Excellent image with a pleasing composition. It's really cool how the trees look as aged as the house. I enjoy both versions but I prefer the colored version, the late in the day light looks great in color.

It is very sad that these farm places are falling apart and getting less and less... Better photograph them while we still can...
