We got into about a dozen whitebass and 3 or 4 buffalo. The cats were uncooperative. But man was it nice out today....

Thanks to FisherDave and Manny for a good time...

FisherDave started off the year with the first fish in the new boat.......Followed by a few more, with Manny and I getting in a few mixed in as well. Small jigs and twisters in about 3 or 4 feet of water.

I saw him think about taking a bite out of a freeze-dried fathead....but he thought twice about it. No slap's today......except the slaps of some jumping shad.

Wow, you could hardly ask for a nicer day, huh? Holy smokes, mid 40s and some sun. And to think, you could have done a little ice fishing on the way home even. Gotta love MN spring for the variety, eh.

Hey, way to go catching fish on only the second voyage. The first one hardly counts, considering it looked like it was 99% icebergs and 1% fishing.

Get that ride good and warmed up for the next 11 weeks. We want to bring a lucky boat up to Lockport, considering the jinxing Hanson tried to throw on us.
