Sandmannd
I wasn't big on Sage, but he is better than T-jack. I heard rumors this morning of going after Cutler, now that would be an awesome signing!!
Scott K
Cutler still needs someone to throw to. TJ would have been nice, but since they didnt pony up the extra 2 million for 5 years to get him here, we need to go after Coles, other wise a new QB wont make much difference. fishyguy
LMIT,The article you posted wasn't credited to anyone. Mind telling us where that was from? It sure sounded like the person writing it was drinking some of that green and gold kool aid while writing it. Sage wasn't a blockbuster but until the Cutler rumors surfaced there were not a lot of good options. I think the KC for Cassel deal tells everyone what the NFL thought of Cassel and his price tag. The Donk
Im sure it was a green bay writer or wisc affiliate. Sage is the prototypical Trent Dilfer QB, just dont throw it away and make a few plays to get 20 pts on the board, we'll take our chances with that and shut em down on the def side. The pack needs more than just Def line help, they have good LBs but their secondary is a bunch of overpaid girls that get hurt waaaay to much! koonie
bassphishI can understand where you're coming from. I can't give up on the Vikings though. I've put in too much time. It's a good thing I'm also a Steelers fan or I may have to give up football. Gets frustrating when you get so close only to have it snatched away. It does seem like we have something working against us at times.WadeYou guys need a lot more than D lineman. Your linebackers are way over-rated. Hawk at this point is average at best. Now you are switching to a 3/4 defense and are trying to fit your personnel into that scheme. square peg/round hole. You'll be drafting early in the first round for a couple of years. james_walleye
What's that I hear already this early in the year? Could it be "hope" being sold? I think it is! Can't you bogart a line that actually is worth something. What NFL fan doesnt have hope. Why you think this is something unigue to vikings fans is beyond me. I said it to you once before, go log onto other teams message boards and tell me the same thing isnt going on with every other teams fanbase. LMITOUT
And how many times do I have to say that there is a fundamental difference between having hope and having a logistical chance?
we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted March 4, 2009 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted March 4, 2009 Great point....as we all know the Purple has hope AND a logistical chance.Hope is ALL that springs eternal for the yellow kool-aid drinkers this year. I really feel for you guys having to suck it up and find a couple of minor bright spots. Wonder if McCarthy will be around next year? Atleast when the Vikings dont put a good product on the field, we are smart enough not to buy tickets and sell out every game. So the owners know when they need to add better players. LMITOUT
I've heard weak smack, but I think that takes the cake. Wow.And by the way, what you described about bailing on the team when they aren't doing well is typical bandwagon MN fan. Nothing to be proud of Russ. we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted March 4, 2009 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted March 4, 2009 Yes both have "nothing but hope" to go on and The Yellow Kool-aid Drinkers are the TRUE DELUSIONAL Fans. At least the Lions fans know what they have.

Jim Uran
No, those two teams are at the bottom of the division. We can make fun of you guys because you have horrible teams, and a not so great future.
