great day on the ice

went out with the old man in search of some crappies and wound up finding the best perch hole ive ever fished in 17ft of water. we ended up with 11 keepers and 4 crappies for the dinner plate. i also caught a 14.5 inch walleye.yes i cried as i let him go.all these fish i caught on a small fat boy jig with white munchem tail by lindy. a few of them had a minnow tail next to it as dad was using the heads .great day on the ice.

yeah we looked for fish for an hour and 45 minutes and then looked on the h20 and saw that gold mind spot.low pressure spot too was great.

At the age of 70 my dad drilled his first hole 2 weeks ago. The sad part he lives on the lake. He still has never caught a fish through the ice and he grew up in Minnesota. How strange is that? Anyone know a spot I can break his cherry around Hutch would be greatly appreciated. Sunny or Crappie.

no fl-18 yet. out fished dad with his though that was mint. want one for next year i think or this summer for the boat . think that bottom lock might be nice otherwise with mine it will just be constantly moving right? i guess thats wouldnt be the of the world either . do you use yours on your boat drewski?

went to that spot again and pounded them with the smallest genz bug i had and a lindy white munchem tail. this time blue gills were added to the bucket sweet.
