kooba
I just purchased a yamaha Rino and was wondering how all of you attached the license plate to it. There is no place to zip tie it to the machine it self. Any of you have ideas of pictures for me to look at. I don't want to drill any holes into the machine to place the plate. Any help please. kooba.
Dave S
I've seen guys who just use sheet metal or wood screws and mount it to the back of the tail gate.Another place I've seen them is on the back of the roll cage behind the headrest. aczr2k
What I use on all the wheelers/rangers I've had is to find some rubber covered tube clamps. Put them around the tube structure somewhere and bolt the license plate to that. Nice no rattle, no drill solution.
sparkydm
If you register it in wisconsin, you get a sticker to put on your machine instead of using a plate. I just found out about this recently from a friend who does it this way because it is cheaper.
landscaper
i have a rhino also and a NICE set up for the license plate.I cant remember the SIZE of the plate or what it has to be by the Book but i think it is the size it needs to be just the letters/numbers on there are smaller than what they should be.Mounted:On the rear frame i think on the Drivers side. Really tucked up in there. Use the hole that was there...Welded a piece of metal to the plate(metal) at an angle so it sits Horizontal. Not at the angle of the rhino frame. Better than drilling into your tailgate!!!! the rhino isnt with me now but next week i can get some pictures for ya if you want??Even got stopped in town by the local DNR and asked if i had it licensed. I said Yep right there he bent over and looked and said OK looks Good!
