BrianLucky13
There is also a lot of little lakes around there. And if you dont have a boat, thats ok!! Most have fishing piers. Just something you might also be interested in. NDDNR has a good HSOforum about all the lakes and rivers in the area!!GOOD LUCK
iffwalleyes
Lake Sakakawea in june the Van Hook arm is tough to beat. There are a few local guys around New Town. If you find the number to the Scenic 23 club in just east of New Town.I believe the owner is a guide. If not he will know someone in the area. He himself fishes pretty much daily. Nice guys they will put you on the fish for sure.
poutpro
anyone been onto Sak lately? I had a trip scheduled for this upcoming weekend, and am wondering if I am going to even be able to get onto the ice.
candiru
Poutpro, I wouldn't bother. The dam is completely shut off and the lake is rising. So, the shoreline ice will be going bad. That is underneath the recent foot or so of new snow making it impossible to see where the ice is real bad. There may be another weather system moving in for Sun/Mon.
