Pre season Twins predictions......................

I am really thinking Young won't be in the OF come opening day. Span will get shifted and Cuddyer will be back in right. I am all for giving Young a try as an alternate DH with Kubel, ones a righty, ones a lefty, and letting them take turns giving OF'ers a break, but Young out there everyday, don't think it will happen.

Young is a better hitter than Cuddy. He does have major power potential, watch him in BP one time, the dude knocks the living piz out of the ball. When he puts it all together hes gonna be a very solid all around player. I like Span in right over Cuddy. Span makes alot of good grabs rather than just playing everything off the wall.

I never said he will win one, but I like his arm. Young don't have a snowballs chance at one either. At least Cuddy don't have balls bounce at his feet, then over his head, then to the wall. UGH.

At least we got to watch Young play all year.

I honestly don't understand why Gomez should be playing over Delmon Young. Gomez is more raw than anyone with Minnesota, yet he'll be starting over a guy who hit .290 last year with big power potential.

I think it should be Young in left, Span in center, and Cuddyer in right.

Cuddy never dives for balls Ive noticed, he always plays them on a bounce or hop.

Never's a dangerous word to use, Sled. You probably should watch more Twins games if you've never seen Cuddy dive, he does it all the time. smile

First of all if you use the argument that Cuddyer is one of the top OF assists guys, you have to look at Manny Ramirez, he is also one of the top assist guys in the league and he is a horrible OF it is just because guys know they can run on him so they are more likely to try, hence the greater number of assists.

Second, how can you say Punto is going to win a gold glove if he is not even penciled in as a starter at either Short or Second? If you are not a full time player good luck on winning the Gold Glove.

That is just my two cents from a Sox fan and that is probably all you guys think it is worth!!! LOL

I didnt see that exact game cause I was flying home at the time due to I was at the BREWERS vs TWINS Game the day before.

He only had to dive cause he got a late jump on the ball, maybe because of the sun/shade.

Zamboni,

I have to agree with you, I do like the St. Patty's Day Sox cap but it is too trendy, all the young yuppy wannabe's are wearing that cap when they think they are too cool for school! My personal favorites are my old school Winning Ugly cap and my black and white Zoobaz (sp?) print Sox hat. It just screems the 80's.

Which ever hat we pick out it will look good atop the ole Cranium De Sled! Maybe we can have a contest on the site and we can let the majority rule as to which hat he will have to don for eternity. How about we go double or nothing on Cuddy winning a gold glove and batting .300 for the year and not only does Sled have to wear it for the rest of his life but he has to be buried in it as well! LOL

Now we just have to get Cuddy to win that gold glove......

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
