Cooter
Could someone give me a description of 'well drained soil'?

Cooter
Thats how I would interpret it as well. I asked because in the description for a popular food plot seed it stated: "Grows best in soils that hold moisture or are well drained." Didn't make much sense to me. Code-Man
Ya well it could also mean that instead of the water sitting on top it gets soaked into the soil where the roots can handle a little bit more moisture soaked soils. I swear half of the seed company's make lingo that don't make sense
WaitForIt
Non clay, non sand. A rich loam with organic material - will hold moisture but not standing water.
