Chef
My factory Polaris labeled battery is losing its crank power, so I need a new one.Last year, I bought one from a local auto parts store and it was pretty weak so I returned it and put my original one back into service. The dealer I get my ATV serviced at has Polaris batteries, but they are about 90 Bucks.I'd appreciate any suggestions for an alternative or .02 on ponying up the 90.00 for the Polaris one. Thanks! jltimm
Wally world might carry your battery for a better price. Otherwise Fleet Farm?
Mark Christianson
Fleet is a for sure place to check out.
aczr2k
I'd buy an Interstate. Cheap batteries don't last, especially in an atv.
Eckie
I've posted this once before...my original battery lasted 4 years, then $hit the bed. I wanted to save some $$ and find the cheapest battery I could (they're all the same, right??)...so I went to Wally world and paid $74 for it. 6 months later, it croaked. With my tail between my legs, I started a post here hoping to find out where I could find an ATV battery that was worth it's weight for the price. One that would withstand sitting for months at a time, and one that would fire up the quad after sitting on a trailer up to LOW in -30 degree weather. One word -- Odyssey. Best ATV battery on the planet. Cost? I paid $111 at Batteries +. Expensive? Yep. But spending $111 is much cheaper than spending $111 AND $74 within 6 months.Don't make the same mistake I did! KLoopBinaction
If it sits for a while to lengthen you battery life buy a battery tender, you can rig up a quick connect and it will charge/ not over charge while your not using it. It is goo pm
Chef
Thanks for your replies. I went to Northern on Monday and bought a sealed Interstate battery for $90.00.I'm sure it will be a great one.
