Drive belt question

Recommended Posts

Anyone know the correct Polaris drive belt part # for a 95 Indy XLT touring 600 triple ? I replaced a broken one that was on the machine with the spare that came with it # 3211075. I purchased a replacement spare useing a worn one that was in the rear storage assueming it was the correct #. Upon closer inspection I have #3211075 on the machine and #3211042 as a spare. I tried looking it up online but cant seem to find the correct info and yes I can call the dealer Monday but am curious today. Help please.

use the 042. your options are 3211042, 3211066,and 3211070. I believe the 66 and the 70 are the top cog design. the center to center distance on the 75 is not correct. So don't use it. Make sure your belt slack is no more than 1 1/4" measured off a straight edge. good luck

Google polaris parts finder and click on the first link under the sponsored links - the site has parts catalogs that go quite a ways back. Sometimes it is hard to find what category some parts are under but keep looking. The belt is under drivetrain......3211042
