RonT
I see that the Wild have placed Krys Kolanos on waivers and recalled Peter Olvecky. Olvecky was a 3rd round pick in 2004 who has 6 goals and 17 assists in 41 games for Houston. He is from the same hometown as Gaborik. Hopefully his "lower body" is in better shape than Gaborik. Anybody know anything about this "offensive juggernaut"?
Hockey Guy
I honestly liked the way Kolanos was playing the last month or so. I overheard some of the guys that sit by me saying the same thing. I'm surprised they did that is all. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he get's claimed off waivers.
lovetheice
when is the trade deadline? we need to do more then bring players up to get into the playoffs, we need proven vetrans.
EYEYIEYE
I agree Kolanos isn't a bad player. I get frustrated with the way Lamaire uses guys like that. he gives a guy 1 shift in 10 minutes then puts him on the p-play what the heck? When is Bouchard going to start doing somthing? maros91
when is the trade deadline? March 4, 2009I see we traded D Erik Reitz for C Dan Fritsche of the Rangers. He is 22. By no means a blockbuster but a trade.
so haaad
The Reitz trade was ok. Neither player was playing, so not much risk on either end. Fritsche is three years younger, so I'll take the younger guy. Reitz didn't do much when he was here.
Quackaddict9
Quote: When is Bouchard going to start doing somthing? Bouchard had a 3 point night on Tuesday! Maybe the all star break was what he needed!!! hopefully this continues for him and the team to play good hockey!
