brna0102
I have never fished Devils lake but have heard alot of good things. I 'm looking to come there in March & need a little help. Most of the websites for guides say they fish out of portables, why? I would guess you have to be mobile for the perch? I don't care but the guys are trying to take the wives on this trip. Is there anyone who would just come fish with us for a while? As I have all the gear you could ever need. What is the limit on perch & eyes in ND? Anybody recommend a guide & a nice place to stay? riverview
woodlands resort is right on creel bay. Very nice motel and cabins, great bar and restraunt, guides and rental houses if needed. That is the only resort i have stayed at on devils lake. Portables this year because of all the snow. I was there last weekend and there were alot of roads. hard to say by march what it will be like. I have had good luck on eyes but perch can be hard to come by. I got into them last saturday by the dome house in 22 ft of water but they were hard to catch. they were big though
marine_man
They typically run portables to keep up with the moving schools of fish, but riverview is right, woodland has rental houses. You could try and get a hold of Jeff Dosch Dosch Guides and see if he would be able to customize something to what you're after since you have all the gear. The limit on perch is 20 daily and 80 in possession. The limit on Walleye is 5 daily and 10 in possession.marine_man
