primetime49
we love to see the deer in winter as the days get pretty boringthis morning my wife said to come to bathroom window as she had company.went to look and she was counting outloud as the home herd stood looking in at us.25 feet away from our 70 degree comfortable window perch.they are eyeing the 7 large bales og hay but are still grazing deep into the snow for foodthe salt we put out that they made disapear still holds them here.the snow is gone where a 40 pound sack of softner salt was placed two years ago and a hole the size of a large fishing sled remainsthey devoured a bag of sunflour seeds yesterday

tunrevir
I just filled my bird feeders today with suet and a seed mixture and the rest of the bag was dumped along the edge of the woods for the critters. I usually end up getting pheasants, turkeys and deer as well as squirrels ect. that hit the stuff on the ground whicgh is kind of fun. There are 5-7 deer in the area that will sneak in after dark for a quick bite as well.Tunrevir~
