Break-in Oil For New Power Auger?

Bought a new eskimo stingray power auger yesterday. Manual says use viper 2 cycle oil during break-in period. Does anyone know where I can purchase that brand? Or can I use something else comparable during the break-in period. As always, any help well appreciated. Smitty

I broke my SM in on Amsoil Saber at 50:1 for a couple of tanks, and I've been running it at 80:1 since.

All manufacturers will recommend their own branded oil and in your case, the Viper will more than likely be carried by the same place you bought your auger from.

jwhjr has a good point about the AMSOIL. A lot of the guys here on FM are using it in their augers and are running their ratios as light as 100:1.

The Oilman right here on FM will be able to get you set up with the AMSOIL products you need.

I'm breaking in my Nils on Saber oil at 50:1 will go 80:1 on the next mix.

I broke my Jiffy in under manufacture reccommendations, after two tanks of that I went to Amsoil 80:1

I broke my Strikemaster Mag 2000 in with regular 2 stroke oil by the manufactures specs. Make sure to check with Eskimo to see if running your auger higher then there specifications for oil mix will void you warranty. I know if I run my Mag 2000 higher then the specifications for oil mix it will void the warranty.
