I know there is still plenty of ice and season wont be here for a while, but I am really bored and found a picture I thought I'd post. Was from 2 years ago, me and some buddies went out an hour before school.

wow, that brings back memories, my grandpa took me one time to do that, he did the spearing. Not as many as in your pic, maybe 2 LOL.

Thats awesome eyeslayer, my buddies from college did the same thing on spearing opener 2 springs ago. Gets me thinking though spring cant come faster but there is alot of late ice fishing to do yet!

That's a load of suckers!

Not to get on my soapbox, but I hope you make use of them and don't just throw them away. A lot of people lump suckers in with carp.

Suckers are a native fish and important part of the ecosystem. They are a big part of musky, pike, and walleye forage in many waters.

If you're making use of them, though, great job!

I figured that would come up. Don't worry they all and cleaned and end up getting smoked. We eat alot of them, and also give them away to our friends.
