Question

My dad bought a new one this year and he took it out of the box and thought it wasnt running right so he messed with the high and low idle screws. It is way messed up now. Does anyone know how many turns ruffly they need to be turned out for it to be running good. I messed with it and got it to start and stay running but it never stops spining and I dont think it is giving us all the power it has. Thanks for any help you can offer!!

I believe its 2-3 turns roughly. They should have them red stop things on the needle to keep you from turning them in or out too far. If the auger turns at idle youll need to turn the screw out alittle till it bogs down alittle and doesnt turn the auger at idle. Then to get the high needel adjusted run it at full throttle for alittle while and if it kills turn it out alittle till it stays running. When its under load you may need to adjust it again alittle but this should get you in the ballpark.
