All I can say is locate the Body control module (interior computer) and see if any water damage has occurred (maybe possible water leak and a crust build will occur) or any other corresponding module.

If so, find the leak and repair it. Windshields have been known in the past to cause issue simliar to this. Have you had your windshield replaced recently?

That's going to be a tough one to figure out. I heard a guy on autotalk describe the same problem a few months ago but of course we never get to hear what the fixes are.

One thing that comes to mind other than the BCM that shack mentioned. Door switch and/or wiring in between the door and the body (or anywhere). If it sees the door open and then closed it would re trigger the auto door locks while you are moving. It would also fool the security system into thinking someone was trying to break in because it thinks the door is open.

I agree I think you have water getting into the BCM, the BCM is located behind the instrument panel on the drivers side. I would look up from underneath and look to see if there is water spots on anything in this area. I would also check to see if the floor is wet. You could run a water hose over the drivers side windshield and drivers door area and look for water leaks inside. If you find a leak you will need to get it resealed. Since this only acts up in the rain, it may not have permanent damage yet, but if it does you will need to bring it into a dealer to reprogram the module if it needs to be replaced.

My buddy had a GM car along those lines and it was haunted like that too. We finnaly got a tip from a long time chevy mechanic that the connection to the BCM would go bad with corrosion due to water making its way in there. We found the leak and cleaned the corrosion up, put some dielectric grease on the connection to keep future moisture out and it has been fine since.

His was so bad that it started doing it at random times while driving. I though we had a Christine on our hands and wouldnt ride in it.
