?Where can i get FREE ice house plans?

iv got some time off work and think it would be fun to build my own shelter.

im looking for something very simple and fairly easy.

what is your plan for size?

get the lumber and use screws!! u can always take it apart if u use screws. if you got time off just go for it. just remember, screw it!!

make the floor and walls (width and length) narower by the amount of the thickness of your sheeting so the sheeting works out better and isnt too short. ex: 4by6 house with 1/4 sheeting the floor would be 47 1/2 by 71 1/2. good luck!

There was a post a couple of years ago about Moosehunter's green house. It had pretty detailed plans on a skid house that you could take apart and haul on a snowmobile trailer. im thinking a portable...something big enough for 3 or 4 people.

something simple...im not a skilled carpenter

i keep getting redirected to a portable that uses a plastic tarp and has a curved roof. i have to buy the plans for 5$. is it worth it?

At this place you buy the canvas and you make the floor the way you would like. I bought one last year and love it.

Cabelas sells a nice kit where all you have to do is build a floor for it and attach the canvas
