Was in a Walleye Derby today with Walleye Boy and his dad. Went off Lewis Point and got into them pretty good. Bill and I were marking them from the get go while WB went to deeper water. I had a tough time getting a hit and settled for 2 White Perch. Bill was able to ice 4 keeper Eyes, the biggest being 18.5" and 1 White Perch. WB came home empty having lost a couple on the way up from the deep.All in all a good day. Be back out tomorrow.

Hit Lewis point this AM from 6-10. Not even a bite marked a couple

Walleye Boy his dad and I also hit Lewis Point this AM from 6-12. We managed to ice 8 Eyes (6 keepers) and 4 White Perch. When the wind started to blow from the West the bite turned off like someone hit a switch. The 3 of us have had 2 good Eye days in a row, can't complain.

kirkville1I was to the right of the point. To the left is where I caught my 25.5" Eye last Monday. I was out a little over a mile, 1.3 miles to be exact.

sniper, i got the sled back today. runs great. took it for a 20 mile ride tonight and no problems.... but i broke the recoil. im going to take it back to the guy tommarow and it should only take him about 20 minutes to fix. no more walking!!

All four eyes that we had measured 19-20". and were all female.

the eyes should be starting to make their run for the canal.

Fished Oneida Yesterday (Sunday) 8am-2pm. Drilled lots of holes and finally settled in on a big drop off. Lost a hogger eye on the first drop, then caught a couple of big smallies and about a dozen perch between us.

Went out of Chapman Park today, windy as heck and snowing like mad. Got out there about 7 tenths of a mile turned around and couldn't see shore. Fished in 32FOW got a couple Perch, about 11AM I started working my way back drilling holes as I went. Hooked into a log on bottom in 30FOW got about 1/2 way up and all he^^ broke lose. When I finally iced it, it was the ugliest fish I've ever seen. Found out later it was a Burbot (thanx Thunder), about 3lbs worth. Ended the day with 3 keeper Perch and the creature. Walking was hard going out and a lot worse on the way in.

Anyone know how bad the snow piled up on oneida lake, I was getting around nicely with my 4 wheeler but doubt if it would work if the snow got to deep. Any reports would be helpful.

Went out off Lewis Point today with Bill from 6AM till 11AM. Bill had a good one till the Eyes teeth ended the battle and took Bill's Favorite Lure with it. Between the 2 of us we only got 3 hits and marked just a few fish. Looks like the Point may be going flat for now, will need to try somewhere else.

FYI Fished off lewis point for over 5 hours and moved 12 times and only cought 1 smallmouth which got my blood flowing for a minute until I saw what it was.
