An open invitation to the forum host and her gal pals to venture north to Selkirk...AKA...THE walleye capital of North America. Here's my wonderful wife Rachelle with her first Manitoba trophy walleye. A true Master Angler sized walleye at 29 1/2 inches. Her happiness, although genuine paled compared to mine. I am so happy that she landed this fine example of a classic Lake Winnipeg Greenback walleye. Lisa, can your GTG friends say...."Road trip?" lol

That is one nice walleye!! She's just so pale and pretty! I sure can say ROAD TRIP!! That girl is a beauty! I can't even imagine what I would do if I caught that!! Congrats to your wife gatorhunter!

Add another trophy walleye to the thread. This time it was caught by the other significant female in my life. This morning my daughter caught her first Master Angler walleye. A real chunky 29 incher.

In the past 5 days, my son, daughter and beautiful bride landed their first trophy walleyes. AAAAAAWWWWWWWSOME!

The icing on the cake included me landing one too, so the whole family made the "book" in the past 5 days. Unbelievable when you consider that I fished 37 years before catching my first trophy walleye back in February of 2006.

They were all released so that someone else can enjoy catching them too!
