Lisa I got an email this morning from the Relay for Life! Thank you very much! grin Did you see our team name? Funny hu? For our fundraiser at the relay we are going to have a coffee shop. We thought it was a really good idea since its and all night relay. So the night before my team is going to meet at my house and we are going to BAKE! We are going to bake muffins, cakes and cookies most likely I will pick up bagles ect. I'm going to go to Dunkin Donuts and other coffee shops to see if they will donate coffee and stuff, if not I will buy it(just hope I dont have to ) AND I have the store HSOforum for the Vikings and I am ordering the supplies from there. Cups, napkins, ect. and some raffle items (my team is also going to have a raffle) I get really excited helping to raise money for things like this. I am also on the commitee, I am the Mission Education Person so I will be VERY busy between talking to folks there and the coffee shop and lets not forget the walking grinwhistle.

And guess what else, instead of trying to jump into a studio, I now work for Santa Claus at mall taking pictures. So I figure if I want to run away screamimg after an hour then it may not be the best career choice for me. So we'll see.

as a matter of fact, YES! They hunt with bows and I'm not real sure about firearms, they are limited to what thay can use and unfortunatly some people have made bets on the number of people who get shot/wounded/killed what ever. Reason being they all get drunk off their behinds go out in their boat, airboats, ect in the middle of the night and shoot at anything that moves, and sometimes its another person.

Hey I FINALLY reached 1000!!!! laughlaughlaughblush

Good luck to ya on the Cancer thing. My wife has done it for a few years. Watch out as good as the cause is they do push you a little bit to much, in my wifes opinion.

G.C.

So far the guy thats been helping me has been really nice. I hope that doesnt happen because I really enjoy helping.

DeeDee, my wife and I have been involved in a Relay For Life for many years now. Your "bake sale" is a good idea. We had one at a local archery club we belong to during a public shoot and raised over $300! Our team also gets together every year and does a big garage sale. Think last year that took in almost $400.

When is your walk?

Not until May 1st. They like to get started early. I have my first meeting on the 17th and every other monday after until the relay. We figured sugar and caffiene would be helpful smile Do you do extra fundraisers at the relay? Thats where our coffee shop will be.

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
