INFO ON A 98 XLT

A FRIEND OF MY IS LOOKING AT A 98 XLT TOURING. THE SLED HAS 900 MILES IS ALL. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE PROS AND CONS OF THAT SLED, MAINLY THE ENGINE.

Here is a good link - non-commercial - and has info that helped me decide what to get and not get. Lots of forum Q&A basically echoed this info. I don't know this guy, or how accurate it is, but it seems pretty good to me, a newbie sledder

We have had no problems with ours been a very reliable sled. I have 9,024 miles have had the carbs adjusted twice other wise slides plug and a belt every few years.

triple....can be good can be bad my uncle had one and the middle carb would never be the same as the outside two and would fowl out plugs even the dealer couldnt fix it
