jbell1981
Granted, he's only started 3 games, but did Chilly miss the ball with him. Maybe he should have been kept and Tvaris out the door? In his past 2 against ok opponets he started he has 3 tds, 0 ints, 62.7% passing, 444 yards and a 100.15 average rating over the 2 games. For a 7th rounder I have been impressed with the past games. united jigsticker
The guy was a raw rookie, just like JD Booty. We planned to sneak the kid on the practice squad. It didn't happen. This year, we kept JD Booty because of last years result.
zamboni
He still won't save Herm Edwards job, but I agree, he has had some bright spots. LJ will be gone soon as well.
zepman
Jiggsticker is right. Vikes liked him alot but thought they could release him and then resign him to the practice squad. Chilly must have "forgot" the Vikes and Chiefs scrimmage once or twice in the pre-season and obviously Herm Edwards grabbed him as soon as he was released. Bollinger should have been the one to go but Chilly had/has a long personal relationship with the family so he kept him on the roster instead. Hard to tell from just a few games played but Thigpen has looked pretty decent playing on a terrible team. Wouldn't suprise me one bit if he turns out to be a steady starter for years in the league while we continue to look for a Q-Back year after year. Typical B.S. move by the Vikes.
