Fish&Fowl
Just pulled a bloated deertick off the dog yesterday and one a few days ago that wasn't attached. Keep an eye out until we get some snow, can't be too careful.

kingr
I was out in the woods two weeks ago around Detroit Lakes. I pulled about 6 deerticks off myself and about a dozen off my dad. We use frontline AND a product that was reccommended to my dad from the DNR guys. It's a "Tick Dip". It comes in concentrated from and you mix it with a half gallon of water per dog and spray it on them. Seems to be working quite well. Neither dad or I have pulled ticks off the dogs since using it. We found the product at L&M Fleet in DL.Be careful. Can never be too cautious. I know from experience.

Harmonica Bear
Ditto on the ticks for me and my dog as well. I was just North of Mille Lacs Sat, and just South of Mille Lacs Sunday (in that wonderful weather)FYI I've gotten into plenty of ticks late season with snow on the ground. Use your tick stuff all season.
