The guys went out yesterday afternoon, and combined until midnight. With the winds that we have today, a lot of corn is going down, making it tricky to combine. The snow we had this morning didn't do anything to lift the guy's spirits, either.

Funny thing, though - saw more farmers in church this morning!

You had snow? I didn't see any here. But wow, gusts up to 61 mph.

On our way into town at 8:45 this morning the ground was white. Snow was sticking to the corn stalks in the fields. The visibility was at less than a half mile. You didn't see any of that in Marshall?

The guys are feeling a little queasy about the 61 mph gusts.

I just talked to a neighbor lady who was walking her dog about 9:00. she thought it was snowing and then realized it was the remaining seeds from the cottonwood trees. Are you sure it was snow?

Pretty sure we don't have enough Cottonwood trees to make the kind of squall that we drove through. Even if we were headed to Cottonwood.

It snowed in Madison last Wed. for about 6 hours. It was wet really wet snow and I was duck hunting in it. Today in the cities we got about 5 or 6 hours of snow, now of it hung around but it was snowing.
