Does anyone know anything about these new flashers? I checked them out on their HSOforum and they looked pretty nice and I was thinking about picking one up, but don't know if I can change from the vex or not. I am planning on upgrading my vex this year and they have 3 different ones with the middle one being reasonably priced. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about them yet?

I haven't used one myself but I know someone that has and he thought they were good units. Lots of guys are excited about them this year, that's for sure.

If I were you, I'd try to hold off one year on buying a new flasher if a Hummingbird is what you want. Let them get the bugs worked out so next years model should be really cool. The one thing that has concerned some anglers is the buttons and how well they hold up in cold/wet climates=freezing.

We have a pro fisherman in Madison Lake that used one all last winter. He loved it. Humminbird could have released them last year but wanted to test them for a season. So yes, they are new to the market, but they have been out on the ice for a season.

Any one with expereince with the ice 35? It looks like the best deal of the lower end flashers....and it fits my budget.

It's almost fuzzy warm feeling when all said and done complain/suggestion for a digital depth read out. Helps me when I forget which depth setting I'm reading.

I just got back from Gander Mt. and they had all of them in stock and on display. What impressed me was that even the 35 had 2 different cone angles and also the floating transducer and was under $300.

I saw that the Red Rock Store has the Ice 55 already marked down to $455. That's a pretty sweet deal! Let the price wars begin.
